Have you listened to the Indian Premier League 2018 anthem? The IPL 2018 anthem has been launched for the much-awaited tournament which is scheduled to start from April 7, 2018, with the first match between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.
The IPL 2018 anthem has been named as “Best vs. Best”, as you can see in the video. The BCCI and Star India have joined with each other to create the anthem for Indian Premier League 2018. The anthem highlights the exact meaning of IPL, i.e. putting the best in T20 cricket format against each other.
The lyrics, music and the video of “IPL 2018 anthem” include the soul of IPL – the competition which unites the best in the game format, where best of worldwide talent features their ability. The anthem for IPL 2018 has been launched and is available in five languages – Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Kannada, and Telugu – over all stages (TV, radio, and digital).

The artists who worked on the IPL 2018 anthem are a combination of talents from all around the world – South African producer Dan Mace, music director Rajeev V. Bhalla, and vocalist Siddharth Basrur, who sung the anthem in all the released languages.
Sanjay Gupta, who is the managing director of Star India, said “The very essence of IPL is a thrilling, action-packed celebration of cricket where the best of talent take on each other in one of the most grueling cricket tournaments in the world. It is a fantastic celebration of both the game and its millions of fans across the world. As per the CEO of BCCI, Rahul Johri, the IPL 2018 anthem has been released ahead of the tournament to embark the next chapter of Indian Premier League this year. The BCCI and Star India have collaborated with each other to work on the large multimedia campaign “Best vs Best” to attract the non-cricket viewing public to make them engaged more deeply with the 11th edition of IPL.
